Position Summary:
U.S. Got People is currently seeking a qualified Phlebotomy Technician to join the Laboratory Department at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. This full-time opportunity supports the healthcare needs of our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families.

- Certification:
- Must hold current certification and registration as either:

- Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience within the past two years

- Screen patients for eligibility for military healthcare prior to testing
- Handle specimen shipping, including HIV sample prep and same-day shipment
- Monitor and maintain equipment with daily/weekly/monthly quality control checks
- Educate patients on specimen collection procedures and direct them as needed
- Ensure all specimens are properly labeled, processed, and prepared for testing or transport
- Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and ensure compliance with safety and labeling protocols
- Support customer service functions such as handling lab calls, greeting visitors, and faxing reports
